Luuvitosen Vippi #007 - Kjell Hansson, Lolita Stasi
Pari viikkoa sitten Kjell vihjasi tuosta From Now Onista, jonka demo on kyllä niin rautaa, että ennätti heti minun vuoden parhaimpien julkaisujen listalle. Samalla listalla on myös Lolita Stasin Ruhr, joka vakuutti yhtä lailla kertalaakista olevansa varteenotettavan lohduton teos. Annetaan sana miehelle.
“Digital noise from the past. 64 Revolt mix old-school samples from Commondor 64 with excellent beats - and anger. This is what I shall dance to when the revolution comes. “Hurricane” is from one of 64 Revolts many internet-releases.
The latest and brightest stars on the Swedish post-hardcore heaven is definitely From Now On… “For What’s To Come” is from their debut demo and this is the perfect song if your planing to take your car for a ride down the abyss. Be preperad to step on the gas at about 6′36″ into the song.
Coarpnc. Smart. Weird. Music. Lots of twists here. What can I say. You got to love it. “J. Lynch” is from their third album.
With a voice, aggression, sensitivity and a live show most hardcore bands only dream of. When We Fall has it all. This is melancholy and anger. This is Swedish hardcore at its best. “Bishop Yard” is from their latest EP
I’m actually more of a dub-person, but Dubadown from Gothenburg makes great reggae with lots of soft vibes and emotions. The song “No Dub” is a dub-remix by Internal Dread and a internet release only. Dubadown release their debut album Killing Us this summer and despite the lack of “real” dub it’s a great album.”
