T.D. Reisert - Alahee album
“For fans of night and desert air, this is yours”, states 80H on their latest release, T.D. Reisert’s nine-track album Alahee. And that’s exactly what it is: you can feel the lonely desert breeze on the background of Tim’s songs, as well as the sensation of timeless, the lovely no need to run approach. Download here.
In my opinion, Tim’s music need to be listened at night time when things are quiet around you. I included a song from his previous release on one of my few mixtape posts I wrote last summer, titled “2 AM on summer night”. In that atmosphere this music works perfectly.
It’s now been some ten days since last time I listened to Alahee album, and at this moment, I couldn’t hear it even if I’d put it on. I’m moving to a new flat tomorrow and we’ve been packing things this whole week and in this busy and full of stress state I prefer listening to nothing.
Did you know moving flats can be compared to facing a personal end of the world? Judging by the amount of stupid things I own, I’m a good western world citizen. You know the deal. Anyway, this means there will be no new posts for some time now. I don’t know when I’ll be getting my computer back online, or when I’ll find the time to search something to post about. Hopefully soon. Wish me strength.
